Course Introduction
- This course was developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) – a prestigious public-private alliance of industry, academia, and government stakeholders, established under FDA funding.
- FDA Accreditation: The FSPCA PCHF course is an FDA-accredited "standardized curriculum." Successful completion of this course is a way to meet the "Preventive Controls Qualified Individual" (PCQI) requirement.
Highlights of the training program:
- Version 2.0 update (October 2024):
- This training program has been updated to Version 2.0 to meet the latest legal guidelines, reflect up-to-date information and references, and add application examples to better support small and medium-sized processors. The sections have also been rearranged to support the development of key concepts, emphasizing the 7 HACCP principles in line with the General Principles of Food Hygiene of the Alimentarius Codex (CXC 1-1969 (2023)).

- Equip yourself with knowledge and skills to develop and apply a Food Safety Plan according to FSMA standards
- PCQI training and certification, meeting the required requirements of the U.S. FDA regulations
